Substituting Almond flour and adding flax seed increases your heart healthy fibers and decreases the carbs in this delicious low calorie "Fried" chicken recipe
First you cut your chicken breast against the grain into desired pieces. I like around 1/2" wide and about 1" long!
Salt your chicken
In three separate bowls add 1. Almond flour mixed with seasonings and flaxseed 2. mix up eggs with a little water 3. cornflake breadcrumbs and seasonings
Dip the chicken into the flour mixture and shake. Add it to the egg and shake again. coat in the breadcrumbs.
Add each chicken finger to the air fryer and make sure they aren't crowded! You may have to do this in batches
Turn airfryer to 370 degrees F and cook for 12 minutes.
