THIS WEEKS NUTRITION TIPS
Need some motivation? Here are my weekly tips!
|
- Adult Beverages: Old Fashioned never goes out of style! What's not to like about a little sugar, bourbon and fruit? It's just sweet enough but packs a nice warming punch. And let's face it...we could all use an escape from the chill. At 151 calories, it sure is a great "snack".
- Thinner Dinner: Try being vegetarian for a day and see how you feel! My Vegetarian Pad Thai recipe is a great way to feel completely satisfied with the right combo of protein, starch and vegetables.

In addition to this there are more vitamins and minerals attached to this soy bean than peanut butter on the roof of your mouth! A,B,C,D,E,K, folate, calcium, phosphorus, zinc, iron and potassium (to name a few).
|
There IS evidenced that isoflavones may reduce the risk of cancer, cardiovascular disease and osteoporosis.

MINDFULLNESS

|
This weeks challenge, Standing Bow Pose. It's a common pose in bikram yoga after warming up the body. I love that this stretches my body in both directions! It feels amazing after sitting for hours!
