Creamy Pastina

Because Pastina that ISNT creamy is kind of a waste of my time…..

Serves 8

Ingredients:

1c dry pastina

4c water

4 egg yolks

1/2c parmesan cheese

1 tbsp butter

Directions:

Heat water in a large pot until boiling. Add pastina and cook according to directions.

Scramble egg yolks, save whites for your omelet in the morning ….

Once pastina is cooked take it off of the burner, add yolks stirring well. Add butter and cheese. Salt and pepper to taste

Nutrition tip:

One serving is about 1/2c. If you have two servings it’s more like a meal. I would add a protein to this like a poached egg and steamed vegetables to complete it and keep you full!.

If you are having the standard serving size you can have this as a side starch to a meal such as roasted chicken and vegetables.
